Two stages offer more even, continuous comfort.

Most conventional furnaces heat your home with a single "full-blast" speed. Not our Freedom 90 Two-Stage and Freedom 90 Comfort - R™ furnaces. Two-stage heating virtually eliminates the discomfort of temperature swings caused by short-cycling, which is a situation common to single-stage furnaces.

With two stages, the unit operates on the first stage more than 80 percent of the time, delivering more even, continuous heating. It switches to the high-heat stage only when absolutely necessary. And while the furnace may actually run longer, it ultimately uses less energy than single-stage furnaces.
