The variable speed blower motor is a "smart" motor that operates at a slower, more efficient speed the majority of the time. This means it's quieter than conventional motors, particularly during first stage or low-heat operation. Variable speed also puts an end to temperature swings, giving you a constant flow of gentle, warm air. This constant gentle flow provides heated and cooled air to rooms that may have been uncomfortable before.
